Living Water Week is our most successful event for youth and children! This event brings the entire parish together for a week full of community and fun. In order for this week to run, we rely on our junior leaders and high school leaders! Without them, we could not run this.
The junior and high school leaders are from grades 6-12 and they will be helping to watch over all the kids that attend living water week. Many teens say it is one of the best weeks of their summer.
Hello! My name is Francesca Alberti! I am the youth minister here at St. John’s and St. Joseph’s. I have been working here since spring of 2019 and I am so blessed to work with the amazing teenagers of Quincy, Massachusetts. I am 21 years old and I am studying Theology and Catechetics at Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio. I believe one of the most important things about having a deep relationship with God is community. All the fun things we do is to build that community and help teens to come to know Jesus in a deeper way through first and foremost the Eucharist!
Our adult/young adult core team is being built as we speak! Please let us know if you would want to be on it and want more information! This will be a great way to have a stronger community for the teens and more support to them and our entire youth program!
Youth group has been the foundation of our teens community. They gather weekly in our lower church after the 5pm mass until 8:30pm every Sunday.
