Cursillo is a wonderful, powerful weekend retreat experience for men or women. The word “Cursillo” means “Mini-course.” The Cursillo weekend is an invitation for you to experience the love of Jesus Christ on a personal level and to bring this love and joy into your daily life. Cursillo is open to Christians at least 21 years of age or older and begins on Thursday evening and concludes on Sunday evening. During the weekend, you will hear talks given by a team of laypeople and spiritual directors. You will have the opportunity to participate in small table discussions, prayer, Divine Liturgy, and great meals. To receive more information:Click Here
Ultreya is the Spanish word for “Onward” and is used in the Cursillo Movement. Every first Friday of the month following the 6:05 pm Mass there will be a special celebration with music followed by a gathering in the lower hall of St. John’s for ANYONE who would like to attend. This night will be a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and be supported and strengthened in your faith journey.
