Jesus calls all of us, who bear His name as Christian, to see him in the poor, the weak, the widow, orphan, young and senior, the suffering and alienated, the friend and the enemy. 

JUST CONSIDER: A Soul without a body is a ghost. A Body without a soul is a zombie.

Our mission sends us to care for the body: For the sisters and brothers who are struggling with death, grief, homelessness, addiction, mental illness, poverty, loneliness, and all those most in need of hope, healing, and help. 

 Our mission also sends us to care for the soul.

• We feed the hungry soul with Jesus’ True Presence in the Eucharist and the Word!!
• We desire to quench the thirsty soul with mercy and peace through the sacrament of Reconciliation.
• We seek to be a place where everyone is welcomed; a place where everyone knows your name because we know Him!!
• We seek to protect, liberate and guide people oppressed by evil or seeking a new way of life.
• We seek to be a refuge of peace from the storms of life.

Our mission is changing lives.

We are making an impact in the city of Quincy and beyond. That is because of you, our generous parishioners, friends, and guests of Saint J’s! It is because so many parishioners, friends, and guests of Saint J’s have heard his call and responded. The gifts of time, talent, and treasure have made all the difference. Joy has gone out to the world!
